A: The raw material used to make tin box is tinplate, it is the steel coated with a fine layer of tin for tin protective purposes.

A: As tinplate is a high quality safe packaging material, tin boxes or cans are primarily used for food packaging like cookie tins, cake tins, chocolate tins, coffee tins, tea tins, wine tins, whisky tins etc and gift tin packaging such as jewelry tins, watch tins, cosmetics tins etc.

3. Q: Are your tin boxes safe for food?

A: Yes, we Brilliant Tin Box use food grade lacquer to coat on the inside of the tin to prevent corrosion and interaction of the tin with the food product. The full range of our custom tins are compliance with FDA/ROSH/BPA free standard. Thus, all our tins are Food Safety Grade.

4. Q: What is your minimum order quantity for custom tin packaging?

A: Depending on the size and shape of the tin, our MOQ range is 5,000–10,000 pieces. Basically, the smaller the tin the higher the minimums. For example, a large popcorn tin or ice bucket will have lower MOQ than a small candy tin.

Custom tins which require a new tool will need a larger minimum. Please complete a custom tin inquiry us or call a sales representative for specific information on our minimum orders. Please contact us for details regarding your specific inquiry.

6. Q: Do you have a price list?

A: Kindly be noted that there is no standard “price list”. All orders are customized. The final price per tin is determined by numerous factors such as size, shape, tin execution, quantity, destination and other details. Provide us details of your requirements and we will get back to you with available options for your specific needs.

7. Q: What terms do you offer?

A: We can offer EXW, FOB, CIF, DDU and DDP terms based on various requirements from our customers.

8. Q: Can you provide accessories to the tins?

A: Yes, we can provide accessories including but not limited to inserts(sponge, foam, Velvet, EVA, PVC, PET), Paper packagings(paper tags, paper box, cardboard box, corrugated paper display tray), Plastic packagings(ABS, silicone, heat shrink wrap etc) and others(ribbon, labeling, pad etc).

9. Q: Can you make custom tins with unique shape?

A: Yes, no problem. We can create a new tool as per your customized requirements of shape, size, printing, finish methods etc. After everything is confirmed, we will proceed with customized tin prototype and final production for you.
